Reach and Teach Students with ADHD: The ADHD Circuit®
If you’re like me, you became an educator so you could have a positive impact in the lives of our youth. But, you are often met with a lot of frustration. Typically, we find that 10-20% of our students cause 80-90% of your aggravation. Much of that aggravation is caused by a condition that frustrates all of us…ADHD.
One of my colleagues recently said to me, “Susan, you have found the bottom to an issue where most ‘experts’ simply swim…unaware that a bottom even exists!”
I have been researching ADHD for over 15 years, but all of the suggestions I’ve ever found were vague, at best. I never truly understood how to help David, who would lay across his desk with arms outstretched, flying like Superman. Or, how to help Debra who was very sweet, but always seemed distant, struggling to “connect” with anything I said.
In the last two years, both my son and I have been diagnosed with ADHD, so this topic has now become very personal. In response to managing our own challenges, I developed a model for understanding ADHD that makes strategies for managing ADHD very clear, concrete, and *easy!*
Recently, an educator from the UK invited me to host a webinar for his teachers called, “Reach and Teach Students with ADHD.” It explains what ADHD is…and provides very concrete steps for ensuring success with ALL of your students. (After all, what’s best for “ADHD” is best for all students!) This webinar presents strategies that take the work off of YOUR plate…and empowers your most struggling students.
This webinar received rave reviews from an international audience! It’s now available to a public audience for a modest investment of $29 USD. $29, less than one dollar a day for less than one month…can dramatically change your classroom experience and the lives of your students!
“I believe these strategies will work wonders for all students. By being aware of all the steps required to complete even the most simple task will hopefully make staff more explicit in directions, and more aware of keeping instructions, planners, tasks simple. Light bulb explanation sooooooo clear.”
