Alignments

Standards Alignment for SOAR Learning & Soft Skills

Correlations that show exactly where SOAR meets the standards.

Every SOAR® correlation names the exact place where each standard is taught: the lesson number, the tool, the step. Teachers can open the document, find the standard, and know exactly where to turn in their materials.

The foundation

How SOAR is built

Before a correlation matters, the curriculum underneath it has to be sound. SOAR is built on Self-Regulated Strategy Development — a six-stage instructional architecture that carries an ESSA Tier 1 “Strong Evidence” designation, based on federally funded randomized controlled trials.

Questions about these correlations

How current are these?

Each document carries an updated date on its cover. Standards bodies revise their frameworks, and we update a correlation on request — if your state has changed its standards since a document was published, tell us and we will refresh it.

My state isn’t listed.

Most states’ ELA standards share the same anchor structure, so the national correlations above map to the standards your courses are built on. If you need your state named specifically, ask us and we will build it.

What do I need to teach the ELA standards?

The core course plus the ELA Maps. Every correlation names which of the two carries each standard, so you can see exactly what a course requires before you buy it.

Can I get these for an adoption committee?

Yes. Every correlation is a standalone PDF, built to be forwarded — download it, attach it, and it stands on its own without explanation.
