Focus on what actually matters — without the pressure to do it perfectly
Most moms I talk to carry the same invisible weight. Doing it all. Deciding it all. Worrying about it all. Reading about it all — trying to be sure they're not missing anything.
Classic "mom guilt." (Or, "parent guilt.") That low, constant hum nagging, "not enough." Not doing enough. Not protecting them enough. Not knowing enough yet.
I know that hum. I carried it through my own son's hardest years — even when I knew rationally I was doing everything I could. It didn't turn off.
— Susan
What did turn it off — eventually — was learning where to aim. Not more effort. Not more information. A clearer view of how this actually works, and the permission to stop carrying the things that don't move the needle.
That's what SOAR Circle is. It's the community I built for moms like us — guided by me, grounded in 25+ years of reading and learning expertise, and designed around how the brain actually learns, not how the system assumes it should.
Here, we focus on what actually matters — biologically, not bureaucratically. And you stop carrying what you were never supposed to carry alone.
Circle is where parents who've already been running the right instincts get the framework that makes those instincts work — and stop inheriting the system's playbook without meaning to.
Who SOAR Circle is for
SOAR Circle is for families managing formal school or homeschool (grades 3+) who are ready to:
- Focus on the right things instead of everything
- Rebuild connection and reduce household tension
- Navigate learning differences, attention challenges, or neurodiversity — diagnosed, suspected, or simply felt
- Make decisions based on how their child/teen actually learns, not on what the system says they should do
- Raise a child/teen whose mind is built for the AI world they're actually entering
If any of that lands, you're in the right place.
What Circle is NOT
Circle isn't a one-size-fits-all program, and it isn't intensive tutoring. It isn't a "quick fix" — and it isn't a checklist you have to keep up with.
If you're looking for a tutor, a diagnostic service, or a program that tells you exactly what to do each day, Circle isn't that. Reading Studio or GPS Consulting may be a better fit.
Circle is a supportive community — guided by Susan — where the right priorities get clearer over time, and where parents get the context, tools, and perspective to lead with confidence.
How Circle works
In Circle, you engage at the depth that fits your life — some weeks lighter, some weeks deeper.
You'll have access to:
- Live support sessions and Q&A with Susan
- A private parent community
- Practical tools and scripts you can use immediately
- Monthly focus areas ("sprints") — one clear priority at a time
- A Roadmap you customize to your needs, so you always know your next step
Circle is built around the 20% that drives 80% of real progress. That means fewer things to do — and more confidence that the things you are doing are the right ones.
It's where you stop carrying what isn't yours and start focusing on what drives real progress.
Circle is often paired with:
- Reading Studio — when reading is the primary academic concern
- GPS Consulting — when a situation feels complex and you need clarity fast
SOAR Circle is included with both, so you never have to choose between them.
FAQ
What if I can't show up every week?
Show up when you can. All sessions are recorded, so you can listen when it fits your life — while driving, doing dishes, folding laundry. Value isn't measured by attendance; it's measured by having the right community, tools, and perspective when you need them.
Will this become "one more thing" on my plate?
Circle is designed to reduce what's on your plate, not add to it. The work isn't doing more — it's doing the right things. Most parents leave Circle sessions with fewer priorities than they walked in with.
What if things get more complex?
Circle is designed to hold the long-term reorientation. If reading becomes the primary focus, add Studio. If you need targeted clarity on a stuck situation, add GPS. Both include Circle, so you're not starting over.
Why is there a 3-month minimum?
Because real reorientation takes longer than a single session or a single week. Three months gives routines time to settle, patterns time to emerge, and adjustments time to be made thoughtfully. This is not a program where you'll know after two weeks whether it's working — the shifts show up over time.
Do I need to sign up for Circle separately if I'm also considering Studio or GPS?
No. Circle is automatically included with both. One signup, one access email.
